Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in East Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Design and develop highly interactive web applications utilizing JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, ReactJs, Redux and integrating Restful APIs, external web services ensuring high Mobile and Desktop performance, and providing SEO solutions for single page apps (4 yrs); Resolve existing front end, Veracode, Checkmarx, and Mend issues owning assignments and see-through completion and execution (3 yrs); Build Micro frontend web Components using Stencil JS for state management, two-way data binding, HTTP Requests, and communication between web components (3 yrs); Develop REST APIs that leverage IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and LDAP to manage user access (2 yrs); Design and Implement user authentication using Okta as the identity provider, JWT for secure token handling, and OAuth2 for authorization (3 yrs); Implement CI/CD pipelines for software products utilizing Docker, Drone, and Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery processes (4 yrs); Design, create, and optimize database using tools such as DB2, PostgreSQL MongoDB, and DynamoDB (4 yrs); Implement data migration automation through Qlik Data Integration from DB2 to PostgreSQL and manage data using Enterprise Data Lake solutions (2 yrs); Work in Agile development processes and writing Unit Tests (TDD) using enzyme jest libraries for building bug-free software (3 yrs); Work with Cypress and Puppeteer automation framework for testing JavaScript web apps to perform integration and end-to-end tests (3 yrs); Design, build, and deploy multi-layered application infrastructure involving on-premises and AWS Cloud platforms using EC2, ECS, S3, and ECS Fargate services. Manage credentials in secret manager (3 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 50% remote work allowed.
