Deere & Company is seeking a Factory Automation Engineer II - Mechatronics Engineering in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Design of electrical machine controls using AutoCad and printed diagrams (1 yr); Programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) (1 yr); Design electrical and product test systems using AutoCad (1 yr); Design integration (installation and networking) of shop floor equipment and tooling into Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Programmable Logic Controllers (1 yr); Provide daily support for urgent production issues, leads root cause analysis and resolution (2 yrs); Design and update electrical systems and prints for machines or shop floor tooling and equipment (2 yrs); Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs) for projects and gather quotes from suppliers (2 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 20% domestic travel required.
