Your Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Precision Construction Specialist for John Deere Construction located in Division 5 (Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, California, Nevada), you will...

 

  • Support John Deere C&F Dealers in the sale and support of SmartGrade and related Technology solutions for Construction Products.
  • Drive dealer engagement in the grade control business by providing grade management expertise and SmartGrade™ Sales support including developing business plans
  • Promote the Deere technology portfolio, track dealer engagement metrics, and drive sales of technology solutions.
  • Support on-site SmartGrade training to Dealers and Customers.
  • Be the expert on technology ecosystems as well as a specific SmartGrade product platform
  • Collaborate with development teams on customer validation of new products and continuous improvement updates.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Experience with Grade Control or GNSS technology (development, deployment, training, or support) or construction technology
  • Experience collaborating with and supporting dealers/distributors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Presentation and/or training experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • 3 or more years of experience selling and supporting grade control on construction equipment
  • 3 or more years of experience developing/training dealer sales professionals
  • 3 or more years of experience years product support

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or Business
