Your Responsibilities

 

As a Digital Specialist for Ag & Turf Sales/Marketing located in Atlanta, GA or Raleigh, NC, you will develop and execute plans with dealers to support their digital offboard product sales strategy which communicates the value proposition of John Deere's digital products. This includes:

 

  • Provide sales support to channel partners with direct customer contact through specialized product expertise of the digital/off board product line up          
  • Present and demonstrate agronomic solutions at key events and shows
  • Work with Precision Ag Product Marketing Manager and team to learn and disseminate the latest information on Precision Ag solutions and initiatives and ensure information flow to field teams and dealers        
  • Leads major initiatives, special projects and develop advanced training materials on digital/off board products

What Skills You Need

 

  • 2 or more years of experience in sales and marketing          
  • 1 or more years of demonstrated project management experience        
  •  2 or more years of experience and working knowledge of agriculture production systems          
  • 2 or more years of experience with applying data analytics to solve business problems        
  • 1 or more years of practical experience with John Deere machinery and equipment.  

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • 1 or more years field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network, limited geographic area of responsibility, and broad product knowledge.          
  • 1 or more years selling directly to an end-user customer in a retail environment
  • 1 or more years gathering market data using research tools; applying statistical analysis principles/methodologies to make recommendations.        
  • 1 or more years experience delivering training

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

             

  • Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience.        
  • Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience.
