Senior Lead Software Engineer

Duties

• Architecture & Strategy: Design and develop scalable web applications using modern front end and back end technologies. Define architecture, ensuring it aligns with business goals and scales with future needs, including the development of enterprise roadmaps. Participate in the evaluation and implementation of design solutions to enhance cost, quality, and performance of applications.
• Enterprise Integration: Lead the design and implementation of complex integrations across enterprise systems, ensuring high quality and efficient solutioning.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce governance frameworks, coding standards, and engineering best practices to ensure quality, consistency, security, and compliance.
• Team Leadership: Passionate about technical mentoring and coaching within and outside the team. Provide technical direction to team members to resolve complex design and production problems, ensuring project goals are met.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring that product solutions are aligned with organizational objectives. Provide strong collaboration by working closely with cross functional teams.  
• Value Maximization: Identify and pursue opportunities that enable the organization to maximize value on investment and work towards advancement of product.
• AI Adoption: Exposure to solutions that leverage Generative AI and Predictive Intelligence.
• Agile Methodology: Good understanding of Agile software design methodology for software configuration and development, ensuring iterative progress and continuous improvement.
• Documentation Maintenance: Create and own trail of design and system documentation, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date as needed for ongoing support and reference

Required

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with event based architecture.
• Proven experience with large-scale implementations leveraging RESTful APIs, microservices and external data sync processes to design loosely coupled and scalable solutions.
• Hands on experience with frameworks TDD, Dev Sec Ops, CI/CD and other elite engineering practices (automated testing).
• Experience with implementation of Security by Design principles and creating modernized,  performance optimized, scalable solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to drive solutions independently and handle a fast paced environment with creative problem solving approach.
• Proven ability to innovate with latest technical advancements to create the right technical implementation roadmap.

Desired

• IT Service Management: Any experience with ITIL processes and implementation/integration with ITSM tools like Service Now.
• Exposure to Generative AI and Data Engineering

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Around 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a Development Lead or Architect role. Hands on expertise with Python (Django, Flask), Cloud based development (AWS), API driven architecture.
