Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Design and implement the software application with microservices architecture using Java/J2EE technologies, RESTful web services, Spring Boot and database technologies including SAP HANA and postgres (5 yrs); Develop front-end of applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS by leveraging ReactJS (5 yrs); Manage the building, deployment and operation as a continuous automated process for software applications to achieve the continuous delivery by implementing CI/CD pipeline using the tools like Jenkins and shell scripts and create infra on AWS by using aws services including EC2, ECS, Fargate, and aurora postgres load balancer (5 yrs); Ensure code quality using TDD approach for front end as well as back-end development using frameworks Junit, enzyme, jest and automation testing using Junit, Cucumber (5 yrs). 50% remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
