About the role
We are looking for a Manager, Sales Support to lead a fast paced, operational team supporting our dealer channel. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys coaching people, working through day-to-day dealer queries, using data to improve decisions and turning activity into clear business outcomes.
What you will do
- Lead, coach and develop the Sales Support team, building strong leadership, capability, confidence and accountability across the team.
- Provide hands-on support for day-to-day dealer queries, issues and operational priorities.
- Balance reactive dealer and business support needs while proactively identifying continuous improvement opportunities across sales support processes.
- Manage sales and administration support across the dealer channel, including programs, incentive management, reporting and tools.
- Use data, reporting and market insights to identify opportunities and drive execution.
- Coordinate support for internal, dealer, industry and sales events, including annual meetings and dealer meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations and other stakeholders to drive aligned results.
- Drive target marketing activity, consigned and aged equipment management and outbound dealer communications
About you
You are a strong people leader and practical operator who is comfortable being close to the detail. You know how to support a team through a high-volume, service-focused environment, while also using data, insight and initiative to improve how work gets done and deliver measurable impact.
You will bring (Required skills/experiences)
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, prioritising work and building team capability.
- Experience in dealer, channel, sales support, customer support or another operationally focused commercial environment.
- Strong ability to use data, reporting and insights to improve decisions, drive action and deliver business outcomes.
- Confidence working through operational detail, managing competing priorities and responding effectively to dealer and stakeholder queries.
- A proactive, go-getter mindset with the drive to improve processes, follow through and make things better.
- Strong sales planning, execution, budgeting and business coordination skills.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, influencing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have (Desired skills/experiences)
It would also be beneficial if you bring:
- Experience in agriculture, turf, construction, machinery, equipment or a similar dealer-based industry.
- Exposure to sales operations, incentives, dealer programs, events or training coordination.
- Experience using data, reporting tools, automation or AI-enabled systems to improve efficiency and insight.
- Understanding of dealer processes, sales and marketing processes, or market share analysis.
- Experience working across Australia and New Zealand markets.
