Your Responsibilities

As a Data Solutions Lead for John Deere's Davenport Works Facility located in Davenport, IA, you will..

  • Collaborate with factory functional leaders to identify and implement data and analytics solutions to improve factory performance in safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • Scope, design, and build data solutions and digital applications to deliver business value
  • Execute technology upskilling strategies including technical training, experiential based development, and hackathons
  • Collaborate with analytics practitioners cross-functionally to share knowledge and best practices while teaching others
  • Lead Davenport Works Smart Connected Factory Committee
  • Partner with enterprise and divisional resources to enhance data architecture strategy with consideration for data quality and security
  • Research, develop, and implement new innovative strategies and solutions to add business value

What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Data Analyst
  • 3+ years of work experience designing, developing, and deploying Data and Analytics Solutions with Python or R
  • 2+ years of work experience with Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Databricks, Ignition, SQL, or Python)
  • 2+ years of work experience as Data Evangelist (teaching technical concepts, influencing adoption, demonstrating business value)
  • 2+ years of work experience with Data Lakes
  • 1+ years of work experience with Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis and Data Mining
  • 1+ years of work experience with Agile/Scrum

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 2+ years of work experience with Manufacturing Processes and Tools
  • 2+ years of work experience with Team Leadership, Coaching or Mentoring
  • 2+ years of work experience with Technical Innovation and Automation
  • 2+ years of work experience communicating complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 1+ years of work experience with AWS

Education Details

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Analytics, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience in a related field
