Deere & Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Dubuque, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering or a related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Experience with Industrial Engineering for fabrication processes including: setup, design process, Fabrication Line, layout for new products, run SAP transactions to setup processes and routings to enable production, and calculate the labor cost, time, and manpower requirements to build the new product or equipment (2 yrs); Experience with the Robotic Weld Programming to build prototype weld structure for construction equipment and troubleshooting of robotic systems on the shopfloor, installation and implementation of new robotic system in production (2 yrs); Experience with weld method development to setup and develop Weld Procedures and methods for all new construction and agricultural products including Develop Operator training document, Weld Sequence, Drawing Review, and PFMEA (2 yrs); Experience with fixture and tooling design to identify and design the tooling requirement to build the structure for all new construction equipment products, Fixture Modification and Build (2 yrs). Up to 25% domestic travel required.
