The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities


As a Part-Time Student-Labor Relations for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, Iowa, you will….


  • Support Labor Relations processes by using data to generate reports for project prioritization and completion
  • Become fluent in data analysis tools such as Power BI and Excel
  • Participate and drive completion of staffing and workforce initiatives
  • Performs a variety of tactical tasks to support factory Labor Relations, Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities

What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Technology/Engineering; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
  • Graduation date of December 2024 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Dubuque, IA, on a daily basis year-round
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
