Your Responsibilities

 

As a Facilities Supervisor for John Deere Electronic Solutions located in Fargo, ND, you will...

 

  • Establish service agreements and contracts for all outside service contractors for facilities, grounds and facilities equipment   
  • Lead activities with Deere contractor systems, Supplier Waver Request and ensure on- site contractors are approved and all requirements are current
  • Provide project management of projects related to the facility infrastructure, production machines, equipment and processes that support the manufacturing and/or distribution operation; projects are more complex and may integrate several areas of engineering and require limited management of outside design professionals and contractors
  • Provide leadership for all facilities, including infrastructure repairs and updates, preventive planning for buildings and grounds maintenance and supports upfit and repairs
  • Maintain project budget cost control on projects assigned through project cost control system for the unit
  • Work with Deere Environmental team to ensure compliance for all locations and alignment of environmental goals
  • Manage and provide direction to facilities team members

What Skills You Need

 

  • Knowledge on EAM software for management of preventative maintenance and maintenance project schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage contracts and service agreements
  • Skills in using computer aided design (CAD) and/or engineering tools
  • 3 or more years of facilities management experience

Education

 

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent industry experience
