Your Responsibilities
As a Student Electrical Engineer for John Deere Turf Care, located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will...
- Be involved with the design, integration, and verification of vehicle electrical systems for commercial mowing and golf/turf vehicles.
- Have the opportunity to design/assemble mule vehicle electrical systems, perform vehicle diagnostics, and support verification testing.
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
- Electrical aptitude with basic knowledge of circuit analysis and experience with test and measurement equipment.
- Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Completed courses related to electronic hardware and firmware, electrical systems, and power electronics.
- Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Ability to work 16-20 hours per week during the academic year and 30-40 hours during the summer semester

- Familiarity with serial communication (CAN, USB, SPE)
