Your Responsibilities

 

As a Supply Management Part Time Student for John Deere Turf Care located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will….

 

  • Participates in implementation of resourcing activities and make versus buy decisions. Collects cost data and prepares limited supplier cost/industry analyses.
  • Supports the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Drives continuous improvement in terms of performance and lowest total cost with the Supply Base utilizing Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
  • Develops and executes inventory plans to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals; resolves shipping, receiving, invoicing and payment problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Supply management or logistics background
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Data Analytics

  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience using predictive analytics
  • Prior internship experience
