Main Responsibilities
- As a product design Engineer you will work with a global team in the design of new Crop Care Products, Continuous-Improvement projects, taking concepts and ideas through the product development process in order to implement design changes into production.
- You will be responsible for: Proposing structural component and mechanism designs to meet Project Requirements and creating accurate and functional CAD models.
- Leading CAD model preparation for virtual validation (FEA, CFD, Etc.), coordinating reviews with the analysis teams and proposing design solutions to ensure optimized designs.
- Ordering experimental Parts through internal Acquisition Service.
- Creating Work instructions for Experimental Builds.
- Working together with senior engineers to define and document test plans.
- Documenting and proposing solutions to field issues.
- Change implementation in the factory and Part Lifecycle Management.
- Drafting and print creation using GD&T.
What Skills You Need
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product.
- Mechanical Design Skills (Structural Design, Mechanics of materials, Mechanism Design/ Analysis).
- Strong Analytic Skills.
- Results Oriented.
- Proactivity.
- Fluent in English.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Knowledge of Product Design and Product Delivery Processes.
- Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to Seeding and Tillage.
- Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.
- Skill in using Part Data Management systems.
- FEA Experience.
- Agronomic Knowledge.
Education
- B.S Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Candidates must have the necessary work permits to work in the country.
