Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Industrial Engineer) 
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila IJD Saltillo 
Function: Manufacturing Engineering

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishes routings, standard times, work elements definition, line balance, resource calculation and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs.
  • Lead team studies related to capacity, productivity and efficiency.
  • Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.
  • Analyzes current manufacturing processes capacity and identifies gaps for factory future state.
  • Plan, develop and implement line balance process for each assembly line at Factory (Modules and Vehicle Assembly).
  • Modifies existing performance pay plans; assists in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans.
  • Management of VSM strategy of the factory to identify and implement CI projects to optimize MCT and value added activities.
  • Labor Standard definition for new products.
  • Dc Forecast Monthly Analysis to define factory master plan for Operations.
  • Follow up at productivity metric of the factory.

What Skills You Need:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar position
  • Upper Intermediate English in speaking and writing.
  • Create, manage and improve databases
  • Analyze rigorously.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and experience working on a team.
  • Acting Strategically, establish action plans for self and others based upon factory priorities.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Experience using Manufacturing systems, SAP, database management tools and programming languages.
  • Skill in using software for simulations of Manufacturing Processes.
  • Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process.
  • Experience in one or more related manufacturing areas: industrial, paint system, metal fab operations, shipping, warehousing activities, quality inspection, feeders, modules and vehicle assembly.
  • Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools through internships, relevant coursework, or practical experience.
  • Industrial engineering Expert certification.

Education:

  • Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
