Main Responsabilities

  •  
  • Develop comprehensive material flow designs covering the entire Bill of Materials for new products and factory expansion.
  • Design innovative material flow strategies for diverse materials across production lines.
  • Integrate forklift-free delivery methods to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Improve and design predictive models for material handling labor, warehouse space, and equipment needs.
  • Conduct capacity planning calculations to ensure accurate resource and equipment allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to implement optimal material flow strategies.
  • Work with Manufacturing and Factory Design teams to create detailed material flow lineside layouts.
  • Develop cost-effective, sustainable packaging and part presentation solutions for automated and manual handling.

What Skills You Need

  •  
  • Experience with layout design in AutoCAD, including greenfield facility layouts and material flow
  • Experience in material handling equipment design/implementation, including automated systems
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, with a focus on material flow, supply chain, or process improvement (internships considered)
  • Demonstrated leadership driving projects with diverse teams in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Experience with layout design in AutoCAD, including greenfield facility layouts and material flow
  • SAP

What Makes You Stand Out

  •  
  • Proficiency in Excel (VBA preferred) and experience with data visualization/analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning, warehouse design concepts, and working with Packaging Engineering teams for optimized solutions.

Education

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
