Main Responsabilities

• Deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization.
• Develop monthly and annual production plans for a factory to include resource planning and monitoring and reporting on performance against the plan.
• Prepare weekly team or department workforce plans to identify the number of staff required to meet the demand forecast.
• Manage forecasting and demand planning projects, ensuring effective identification of trends for future demand and optimal planning of inventory and production.
• Manage and recommend improvements to the delivery of part of the organization's inventory-control program to identify any issues and solve problems.
• Manage on a day-to-day basis the transportation and distribution of goods and supplies using existing procedures; review and recommend improvements to procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies.
• Achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.
• Manage relationships with small clients.
• May include such responsibilities as supporting internal customers.
• Track progress against budgets within established finance systems, and report variances.
• Supervise others working within established operational systems.
• Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and to the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
• Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.

Education

  • Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Administrator or equivalent.
