Main Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on development as part of an agile team dedicated to the design and development of data collection solutions.
- Generation and delivery of software for embedded devices within established guidelines.
- Translate higher level requirements in code-based solutions.
- Engage in technical design and review conversations in English with stakeholders and team members daily.
- Collaborate in cross-country development efforts and continuous improvement actions to resolve field and experimental software defects with quick response time.
- Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
- Participate in Agile planning ceremonies.
What Skills You Need
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, highly technical conversations daily).
- Good knowledge on Object Oriented Programming languages.
- Knowledge of Linux Operating System.
- Knowledge on version control systems such as GIT.
- Good knowledge on Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.).
- Knowledge of microcontrollers and Embedded programming.
- Experience developing Linux/Windows software applications.
- Experience with Mobile Application Development.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and willingness to keep growing skills to contribute to an evolving team.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Strong Object-Oriented programming and design patterns skills.
- Technical expertise related to UX/UI design and development.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies or certified.
- Knowledge on communication networks & protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, Ethernet, Protobuf, MQTT).
- Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies.
- Basic concepts of project management.
- Strong Innovation drive.
Education
Minimum Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Advanced Engineering Degree.
Candidates must have the necessary work permits to work in the country.
