Main Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on development as part of an agile team dedicated to the design and development of data collection solutions.
  • Generation and delivery of software for embedded devices within established guidelines.
  • Translate higher level requirements in code-based solutions.
  • Engage in technical design and review conversations in English with stakeholders and team members daily.
  • Collaborate in cross-country development efforts and continuous improvement actions to resolve field and experimental software defects with quick response time.
  • Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
  • Participate in Agile planning ceremonies.

What Skills You Need

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, highly technical conversations daily).
  • Good knowledge on Object Oriented Programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Linux Operating System.
  • Knowledge on version control systems such as GIT.
  • Good knowledge on Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and Embedded programming.
  • Experience developing Linux/Windows software applications.
  • Experience with Mobile Application Development.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and willingness to keep growing skills to contribute to an evolving team.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong Object-Oriented programming and design patterns skills.
  • Technical expertise related to UX/UI design and development.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies or certified.
  • Knowledge on communication networks & protocols (e.g., CAN, I2C, Ethernet, Protobuf, MQTT).
  • Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies.
  • Basic concepts of project management.
  • Strong Innovation drive.

Education

Minimum Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Advanced Engineering Degree.
