Your Position:

Major Purpose

Works on an agile product team and supports product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver moderately complex functionality on a complete product or significant portion of a product it supports. This level develops simple designs to solve well-defined problems with guidance from more senior team members. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel; Makes decisions within established guidelines subject to review by supervisors; Executes high level applications to more complex problems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop new routine applications to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor, identify, and correct more complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
  • Research and interpret data, trends, and benchmarks relevant to digital products/services design.
  • Design and oversee the functionality, usability, and accessibility of business-critical portals/websites using content creation and management tools as well as digital media to ensure that technical continuity is maintained and development standards are met.
  • Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
  • Maintain a roadmap to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements.
  • Provide fault isolation and resolution to limit and address issues promptly.
  • Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
  • Design distribution of basic database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to tune database applications for optimum performance.

What Skills You Need

  • At least two years of software development experience using Typescript. 
  • At least two years of experience with cloud platforms. 
  • At least one year of experience with agile methodologies. 
  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience working with React.js, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch (preferred)
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (preferred)
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure As Code (IAS) - Terraform (preferred)
