Your Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Supervisor for John Deere Horicon Works located, in Horicon, WI (centrally located between Milwaukee and Madison) you will….
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of skilled trades group
- Assign work, manage overtime and shift coverage, and support staffing needs in accordance with company policies
- Support and improve preventive maintenance programs to increase equipment reliability
- Ensure employees have appropriate training, work instructions, and tools to perform job
- Partner with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals
- Utilize SAP functionality to track work orders, labor, and equipment history
- Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment
- Work collaboratively across shifts with members of the maintenance team

What Skills You Need
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a union setting
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance best practices
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance systems
- Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Demonstrated history of being a motivated team player working with a high level of accountability and follow through
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in high-volume or continuous manufacturing
- Lean, Total Preventative Maintenance, or reliability-based maintenance experience
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
