Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Positioning: The Brand Manager position in the region holds the strategic responsibility of managing John Deere’s external perception, which is essential to ensure the brand is positioned appropriately. Through ongoing research, we are able to understand market expectations and needs, allowing us to adjust our actions to strengthen the company’s reputation. This work directly contributes to John Deere being recognized and admired, creating true brand advocates and fans. The role is central to strengthening John Deere’s perception as an innovative, technology-driven company. Initiatives such as employer branding and talent attraction campaigns, like the Tech Campaign 2025, elevate visibility among qualified professionals and reinforce our position as a sector leader.
- Brand Building: The Branding Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand campaigns tailored to diverse target audiences, such as customers, industry professionals, potential talent, and strategic partners. These campaigns are designed to position John Deere as a thought leader, adapting messaging and creative assets to resonate with each audience’s unique interests and expectations. By leveraging multi-channel strategies (On and offline) and authentic storytelling, the Branding Manager ensures that the brand’s values and purpose are consistently communicated, strengthening brand equity and fostering lasting connections across all segments.
- Brand Protection: Active brand management is critical to maintaining consistency and integrity across all John Deere touchpoints. The Branding Manager leads the approval process for brand associations, safeguarding our reputation in partnerships, sponsorships, and corporate events. Examples include evaluating sponsorship proposals for major industry tradeshows and validating co-branding initiatives with key partners. Building a strong brand requires continuous, integrated efforts. The Branding Manager leads brand training for employees, dealers, and strategic partners to ensure alignment and engagement at every touchpoint. This includes brand culture workshops, values-driven onboarding programs, and the dissemination of institutional communication guidelines.
- Project Management & Corporate Events: Leadership in corporate events and sponsorships is also a key responsibility. The Branding Manager ensures our presence at forums, congresses, and tradeshows aligns with global strategy, reinforcing innovation and sustainability attributes. The role also oversees the approval of materials and activations to ensure coherence and impact.
- Governance & Brand Association Approvals: The position ensures proper governance over internal and external brand usage approvals, protecting reputation and mitigating risks of improper exposure.
Skiils You Need
- Complete bachelor degree in Marketing, Publicity, Journalism and corelated fields
- Advanced/Fluent English
- Intermediate Spanish
