SR Software Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP

As a SR Software Engineer at John Deere, based in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be responsible for acting as a technical consultant for internal Citizen Developer customers, guiding them in the planning and creation of low-code and hybrid solutions to meet business needs. You will also act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, helping with the selection of tools for digitization, automation, and AI, applying best practices, and ensuring security. In addition to providing support related to development in Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint tools, you will identify opportunities to reduce friction in the adoption of these tools, and improve customer efficiency and satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage with internal Citizen Developer customers as a technical consultant to guide them in the planning and creation of low-code and hybrid-code solutions to solve business needs;
• Act as a technical liaison between the customer and various internal teams to help identify the best path for successful outcomes. This includes tool selection in the digitalization, automation, and AI space along with ensuring security and best practices are applied;
• Provide internal customer support for questions and issues related to development in Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint tools;
• Identify patterns and opportunities to help reduce friction in the adoption and utilization of Citizen Development tools, reduce the need for support ticket creation, and improve customer satisfaction and efficiency;
• Leverage technical expertise to build low/hybrid code solutions and proof of concepts using the tools that we support;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business and technical needs. 

Skills You Need

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development or related areas;
• Advanced English (broad vocabulary, good grammar, able to lead meetings, argue, negotiate, and deliver training);
• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools - Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, CoPilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents), Dataverse, Power Pages, and AI Builder;
• Experience using SharePoint Online as a developer, contributor, and site owner with a strong understanding of the capabilities as well as the data and permissions structure;
• Experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform with APIs and other code hosted in cloud technologies;
• Experience building scripts and functions in languages such as PowerShell, C#, JavaScript, and Python;
• Experience using and integrating Generative AI in technical solutions.
