Senior Software Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP

About the Position

As a Senior Software Engineer at John Deere in Indaiatuba/SP, in our Finance Technical Transformation Team, you will have the opportunity to work across global teams within IT Finance. You will sustain and enhance a diverse set of applications, including SAP Fiori and Cloud, serve as a senior technical reference for the IT Finance Business Capability, coach others on technical topics and foster software engineering best practices adoption within the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Delivery Lead, Product Manager, and Software Engineers to develop complex solutions that meet IT Finance requirements;
• Lead, mentor and support the growth of a diverse team, fostering learning, collaboration, and technical excellence;
• Manage multiple products, initiatives, and projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and requirements;
• Follow industry‑standard agile software design methodologies for development and documentation;
• Support your colleagues and team members by working collaboratively and sharing knowledge through pair‑programming and code review sessions.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields;
• Advanced English (broad vocabulary, strong grammar, able to lead meetings, negotiate, and conduct training sessions);
• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer, demonstrating a proven track record in the field;
• Strong technical expertise in SAP/BTP;Proficiency in SAP clean core concepts;
• Solid experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred);
• Proficiency in CI/CD Tools (GitHub Actions preferred);
• Solid experience operating within high-performing Agile teams;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3 times a week, in Indaiatuba/SP.
