Technology Engineering Manager - John Deere Financial - Indaiatuba/SP

As an Engineering Manager at John Deere Financial you will serve as technical leader, provide critical input into major product technology decisions, and ensure development standards are adhered to by the team.

Main Responsabilities

• Be a servant leader for scrum teams, ensuring alignment of efforts to the customer experience and business outcomes
• Be a technical coach for responsible teams across locations with focus on full stack technical capabilities, DevOps practices, and software quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owner, to understand the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of responsibility, providing necessary technical perspective and insightsCollaborate closely with Architects and Principal Engineer on technology selection and solution design
• Foster Agile culture among teams, with focus on outcomes and product quality
• Provide team motivation, recognition, and constructive performance feedback
• Develop engineering talent with challenging roles and growth opportunities across locations
• Address technical impediments for your teams
• Maintain collaborative relationships between all product stakeholders
• Understand broader implications of decisions, balancing technical and financial impacts
• Manage IT operating budget for supported products

Skils You Need

• 8+ years applied software engineering experience and leading engineering teams 
• Extensive technical knowledge and background across a wide breadth of software development technologies, including AWS, Java, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Node, React, APIs, and Web Application Architecture
• Proven experience and working knowledge of Design Patterns, Data Structures, System Integration, Enterprise-grade application Security concepts, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices, test-driven development practices and automation
• Proven experience in technical leadership, including understanding of architecture to evaluate designs and implementation
• Proven experience with Agile development process, methodology, and scaling
• Proven experience identifying excellent Engineering Talent
• Proven experience providing constructive performance feedback
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation
• Team-oriented, passionate about developing others' skills and capabilities
