This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Data Wrangler for John Deere Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will;
- Own and manage the Risk Analytics reporting environment to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Hold a key role in innovating and automating data solutions as Risk Analytics migrates to a cloud environment and adapts to new technology
- Maintain and create ad hoc reports, analysis, and visualizations that support data driven decisions
- Support data governance activities

What Skills You Need
- Intermediate to advanced skills in various programming languages (SAS, SQL, R Python, etc.)
- Advanced experience in data gathering, cleansing, analyzing, and visualization
- Intermediate to advanced experience with reporting visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, R Shiny)
- Experience in leveraging cloud services (AWS) and interacting with a Data lake environment, Databricks
- Ability to work independently and with teams to solve problems, gather requirements and manage conflicting priorities
- Strong written and oral communications, especially around communicating analytical concepts to non-analytical audience
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to new, sometimes complex problems
- Ability to troubleshoot and research data questions independently
What Makes You Stand Out
- 4 or more years of hands-on experience in data wrangling
- Proficiency in SAS or SQL programing
- Experience in statistical analysis
- Understanding of various functions within John Deere Financial operations
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics)
