Your Responsibilities
As a Model Risk Catalyst for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarters located in Johnston, IA, you will:
• Manage the execution of Model Risk Management (MRM) activities by integrating with model owners and validators; Support the risk identification & resolution process
• Execute process changes needed for advancing the MRM program to accommodate Generative AI use cases; Create and implement a Report Risk Management (RRM) program, based on existing MRM practices & procedures
• Support the maintenance of the MRM program; Develop and deliver training materials to educate on the importance of MRM, policies & processes, and tool/system usage
• Develop or lead the development of metrics and wrangling solutions for MRM; Facilitate and prepare information for Model Risk Council

What Skills You Need
• Experience in project management and planning – small strategic or larger tactical projects with medium complexity
• Ability to work independently and with teams to solve problems, gather requirements and manage conflicting priorities
• Knowledge of Model Risk Management
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical and quantitative modeling techniques
• Experience with analytics tools in the coding, reporting & visualization spaces
What Makes You Stand Out
• Experience in Data & Analytics
• Experience in risk management, model validation, or other governance activities
• Understanding of various models & analytics teams within John Deere Financial
• Experience developing and delivering training to audiences with a wide range of technical expertise
• Ability to evaluate model use, context, and decision impact; ensuring models are appropriate for their stated purpose and that limitations are clearly understood and governed
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (e.g. data science, analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, information technology)
