 Product Specialist Displays, Receiver & Connectivity (m/w/d)

Our team drives the development and commercialization of digital solutions across the entire agricultural production system. We combine product strategy, deep customer insight, and data-driven value propositions to deliver measurable benefits for farmers and contractors. We work closely with Engineering, Sales, Partners and Farmers. Our mission is to guide customers from entry-level technology adoption to fully integrated, high-precision smart farming solutions.

The salary for this position (full-time) is based on the ERA group 9 of the collective agreement of the metal and electrical industry Rhineland-Palatinate and consists, in addition to the gross monthly salary of 4,932.00 €, of various special payments (holiday pay, T-Zug, Christmas pay, etc.). You can expect an annual salary of approx. 68.000 EUR in this position.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will take on regional marketing responsibility within our customer acquisition process to support the development and delivery of practical solutions for farmers and agricultural contractors - particularly our core technologies such as the G5 Series displays and StarFire™ receivers, complemented by our JDLink™ modems as a central connectivity solution
• In close collaboration with various John Deere teams, dealers, and customers, you will define and validate the positioning and value proposition of the mentioned products, tailored to the region’s local production systems (e.g., cereal farming, dairy and livestock production)
• You will be responsible for the corresponding marketing launch plans and ensure a successful product introduction as well as sustainable, long-term use
• Together with the Tactical Marketing team, you will align planned marketing campaigns and support the planning and presentation of our solutions at international trade fairs

What Skills You Need:

• A university degree in agriculture
• Profound knowledge of cultivation methods for small grains, corn and common special crops - ideally you have acquired this through your own practical experience
• Solid understanding of agricultural operations (planning, execution, and documentation), as well as deep expertise in precision farming, Agriculture 4.0, and the digitalization of agriculture
• Knowledge of customer requirements, markets, and competition within the agricultural sector, particularly in precision farming
• Experience in sales and marketing in a field-based role is an advantage.
• A structured, independent, and communicative working style; very good command of English.
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%), as well as a class B and T driving license

This tariff position is a parental leave replacement and limited to July 2027, based in Kaiserslautern and vacant as soon as possible.
