Your Responsibilities

 

As a UX Designer - Parts Supply & Distribution Services for JD North American Parts Distribution Ctr located in Milan, IL, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered experiences for applications handling ordering, returns, invoicing, and promotional programs. Your work will directly impact dealer productivity and satisfaction globally.  This role focuses on designing user experiences digital applications that enable dealers to efficiently manage parts operations. In addition, you will:

 

  • Design and maintain UX for critical John Deere aftermarket dealership applications.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, interactive prototypes, and highfidelity mockups using Figma and the Deere design system to clearly communicate design vision and endtoend user journeys.
  • Conduct design thinking sessions with stakeholders to address complex workflows.
  • Partner with researchers to validate designs and ensure accessibility compliance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business teams to align designs with goals.

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3–5 years of UX/UI design experience. 
  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems. 
  • Experience in agile environments and accessibility standards. 
  • Ability to translate customer needs into design and effectively articulate that design to technical team members.  
  • Experience incorporating branding and common design system components into product experiences. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • A strong portfolio of UI including diversity in layouts, formats and clickable prototypes.  
  • Knowledge of supply chain or dealer-related applications. 
  • Experience with responsive design and REACT. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX solutions. 
  • Experience with UX accessibility standards. 
  • Evidence of continuous UX learning/upskilling and certifications.

Education

 

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Usability, Graphic Arts, Digital Design, Industrial Design, Human Factors or related discipline 
  • Master’s degree preferred
