Your Responsibilities

 

As a Software Engineer II (CA) for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems. In addition, you will:

 

  • Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications
  • Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives; execute necessary documentation, as directed or needed
  • Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs
  • Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
  • This is onsite position, need to be in office 4 days in a week and subject to change as per company policy.

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3 years of experience in design and build software, data architecture and loosely coupled software application using java, springboot, and REST API
  • 3 years of experience in design and deliver data engineering pipelines, APIs to deliver high quality data accessible solution, using Databricks, EDL, Python, and Spark
  • 3 years of experience in design and deploy Java and Python based applications using Jenkins, Docker, Github and CI/CD
  • 3 years of experience in deploy Java and Python based applications in AWS using ECS, S3, RDS, Gateway and EC2
  • 3 years of experience in build and deliver front (GUI) and back-end application (full-stack)

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus 3 years related experience.
