Title: Constructon Project Intern

Organizational Group: Marketing & Customer Product Support


What you will get:

The John Deere Construction Project Internship experience prepares participants for future roles in John Deere’s Construction and Forestry (C&F) division. You will receive various work experiences that provide exposure to John Deere’s product lines, marketing and customer support activities, and the independent dealer organization.


Possible Opportunities Include:

  • Learn about Deere’s Construction Business and its product portfolio.
  • Develop an understanding of customer Production Systems and the value our products and technologies offer in supporting customer needs
  • Analyze and interpret data analytics to support marketing, pricing, product, and customer support teams
  • Learn about Deere’s distribution channel(s) and our go-to-market strategies
  • Work with field managers to gain exposure to dealers and customers to understand and support marketing, sales, and customer support. 
  • Work with our Aftermarket & Customer Support teams to deliver technical support to dealers/customers, develop parts & service go to market plans, and support parts & service sales.
  • Work with our Training Teams to develop and deliver training curriculum and materials
  • Fulfill a variety of developmental assignments across a broad range of functional areas, such as sales, marketing, customer support to gain an understanding of our business



  • Must have completed your first year of your Bachelor’s or are pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing Analytics or related degree.
  • Desired cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
