Main Responsabilities

  • Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project.
  • Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
  • Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.
  • Customize Linux distributions to meet specific project requirements and optimize performance.
  • Integrate various software components and packages into Yocto-based embedded systems.
  • Work closely with internal teams to integrate software components into embedded systems and ensure compliance.

What Skills You Need

  • Expertise in C/C++ programming language.
  • Understanding of firmware and embedded software development.
  • Understanding of microcontrollers or other processors such as ARMs, DSPs or PSoCs.
  • Knowledge of Embedded Systems.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller peripheral such as I2C, UART, SPI, PWM, boot loaders,etc.
  • Basic knowledge of software version control.
  • Conversational English

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge in Embedded Linux / RTOS.
  • Knowledge in Linux build systems such as Yocto or BuildRoot.
  • Knowledge in Python or Bash.

Education

  • Bachelor’s in Robotics and Digital Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
