Our financial department is currently seeking candidates for the position of:

 

Portfolio Operations Manager 
Poznań, Poland

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the accurate and timely recording and reporting of Portfolio results. 
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of the financial exhibits on a timely and accurate basis. 
  • Maintain system of internal controls, participate to the annual internal control certification and coordinate the unit activities for external and internal audits.
  • Support the annual budgeting and the quarterly forecasting process. 
  • Manage the portfolio team (5 persons), including planning, training and developing.
  • Lead process improvement and automation in the portfolio team.
  • Provide business counseling to various stakeholders of John Deere in projects while integrating new activities/portfolios in accounting process.


Our Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance discipline or equivalent experience (University Degree 4 years or equivalent).
  • 5-8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance and Audit. 
  • Supervisory experience 1-3 Years, including work direction, coaching, performance management, review of work. 
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in using standard desktop applications. 
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to work with a minimum level of supervision. 
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dynamic and flexible to quickly adapt to a changing environment. 
  • Capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose a reasoned solution. 
  • Strong team player. 
  • Fluency in English is essential (both spoken and written). A second language as German, French would be a plus.
