Due to the development of John Deere Business Service Center in Poznań, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:
Solution Architect
Poznań, Poland
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the design of modern Finance solutions and future-state architectures that drive business transformation, reduce complexity, and enable scalable, secure, and intelligent digital capabilities.
- Lead architecture decisions, define solution patterns and technology standards, and create roadmaps that align business and technology strategy.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to create value through AI, data, automation, and modernization.
- Work hands-on with proofs of concept, technology evaluations, and architecture experiments to validate new capabilities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to simplify processes, modernize platforms, and improve business outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and architects to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Support delivery teams through implementation, helping solve complex technical challenges and ensuring solution success.
- Share technical knowledge, mentor team members, and help teams adopt architecture best practices.
Our requirements:
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, and related SAP technologies supporting Finance business capabilities.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, integration patterns, APIs, cloud technologies, data platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Experience creating technology roadmaps, defining future-state architectures, and guiding technology decisions that balance business value, scalability, security, maintainability, and cost.
- Hands-on experience developing proofs of concept, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and working alongside engineering teams to validate and implement solution designs.
- Experience applying architecture governance practices, including architecture modeling and technical decision records (TDRs).
- Ability to translate business objectives into practical technical solutions and influence decisions across business and technology teams.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of AI-enabled solutions, automation technologies, and emerging technology trends.
- Full-stack troubleshooting and analysis experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models and partnering closely with product and engineering teams.
