Due to the development of John Deere Bank in Poznań, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

Customer Onboarding Specialist

(Substitution)

Poznań, Poland

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform “Know-Your-Customer” (KYC) due diligence at the onset of new business relationship with a John Deere Financial customer and during periodical reviews to ensure John Deere Financial complies with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) requirements.
  • Follow up with customers and dealers to ensure receipt of required KYC documentation.
  • Accurately document and update records in required systems.
  • Identify and report “red flags” with regards to AML & CTF.
  • Review and assess sanctions screening results.
  • Review and improve - in collaboration with John Deere Financial’s compliance team - existing procedures and create new ones if and when required.
  • Possibility to participate in the digital transformation and automation of John Deere Financial’s customer onboarding processes.

Our requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in banking, crypto, fintech covering KYC/AML domain or audit roles within the financial sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business / Law / Compliance / Economics or equivalent work experience.
  • English C1, both written and spoken.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience of documenting processes in a clear and structured manner.
  • Ability to consistently meet productivity targets without compromising compliance or quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a diverse environment.
  • Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Customer focused mindset with compliance driven approach.

 

Nive to have:

  • German, Portuguese and/or Spanish are considered a strong advantage.
  • Interest in SQL, data analytics and MS Excel
