Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

EDI Project Lead

Poznań, Poland

What You’ll Do:

As the EDI Project Lead you will ensure a smooth and proper data exchange with our international supply base.

This includes the following tasks:

• Manage the Seeburger Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system

• Take leading role in the EDI team mentoring & supporting EDI coordinators

• Consult managers in the decision process for new EDI processes & solutions

• Manage EDI project execution plans to enhance the existing EDI services

• Serve as a business process and systems expert in order to resolve complex interfactory process and systems challenges

• Manage EDI process documentation

• Operate in the factory SAP ERP system R/3 

What It Takes:

We need an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal, who embraces challenges and likes to work in a global, interdisciplinary team. Ideally, you would have a University degree in the fields of Business informatics or IT.

• Professional background in IT or IT interfacing departments

• Advanced understanding and work experience in IT infrastructures (database, networks, etc.)

• Basic background in Finance or Order Fulfillment

• Advanced background in Supply Management

• Seeburger EDI System (BIS 6) knowledge

• EDI message knowledge (EDIFACT, VDA, X12)

• EDI processes knowledge and awareness of their business impacts

• Analytical skills and affinity to numbers

• Collaboration attitude working as a global team player

• Strong skills in interpersonal communications and conflict resolution

• Ability to work self-motivated & independent with teams throughout the enterprise

• Ability to manage and improve processes conveying business requirements to IT Teams

• Ability to lead without authority and driving change within the global organization

• Ability to speak with impact and generate sounding project plans

• Strong skills in computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office)
