Due to the development of John Deere Bank in Poznań, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

 

Screening Analyst

Poznań, Poland

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze customer screening alerts for sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEP), and adverse media, using various tools and research to identify true matches.
  • Maintain and update internal PEP registries and perform ongoing monitoring and rescreening of existing customers according to policies and regulations.
  • Escalate confirmed or potential matches related to sanctions, PEP, or adverse media to appropriate specialists or compliance teams following established procedures.
  • Support enhanced due diligence processes and review transaction monitoring alerts to detect suspicious activities, documenting and escalating cases as needed.
  • Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and quality assurance, while collaborating with global and regional teams to improve screening processes and ensure policy compliance.

 

Our requirements:

  • University degree in a Finance related area or equivalent experience (Financial Crime Compliance, AML, KYC, Screening, or Transaction Monitoring within a credit institution or regulated financial services environment).
  • Language requirements: English B2, both written and spoken. Polish not required.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on data.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with screening and monitoring tools (e.g. World-Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, Actimize, Transaction Monitoring systems, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations, sanctions frameworks, and financial crime risk typologies.

Nice to have:

  • Polish, German, Spanish or Portuguese (B2).
  • Experience with transaction monitoring investigations, working within a global or multi‑jurisdictional compliance model.
  • Exposure to SAR/STR preparation or escalation processes.
