John Deere Bank S.A. is one of the European branches for John Deere Financial, along UK, Spain, Germany, and Luxembourg. The primary activity is providing financial services to customers and dealers who want to finance John Deere equipment.

Due to the development of John Deere Bank in Poznań, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

Senior Financial Analyst

Your responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will deliver accurate and timely financial insights and perform in-depth analysis to support decision-making. Your primary focus will be portfolio analysis, monitoring performance, and supporting the development of business strategies.

  • Evaluate the profitability of John Deere Bank’s portfolios, products and channels
  • Analyze financial trends and forecasts, and translate results into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for management
  • Develop, maintain and enhance robust financial models to support business cases, investment decisions and budgeting (e.g. Discounted Cash Flow, Lease vs. Buy)
  • Support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost optimization efforts 
  • Contribute to the bank’s financial reporting process
  • Prepare and distribute financial performance reports for regular leadership and management reviews
  • Present financial results and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the development of standard and ad-hoc reports, reporting/forecasting tools, and Excel-based dashboards

 

Our requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (University Degree 4 years or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of relevant financial analysis / FP&A experience
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Strong team player, communication, presentation, business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decisions
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work independently, to manage multiple priorities and quickly adapt to changing environment
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas) Experience with financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Essbase), reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) and automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, Alteryx)
  • Understanding of financial concepts such as budgets, discounted cash flow (DCF), return on investment (ROI), operating return on assets (OROA), return on equity (ROE), shareholder value added (SVA), etc.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
