Major Purpose
- Provides interpretation, analysis, and support of programs or related projects which support the health and safety management system. Participates in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace hazards. Solves problems which are complex in scope. As appropriate, interacts with external agencies as the agent of the unit in both a strategic and tactical role. Typically reports to a more senior safety professional, but may serve as the primary person responsible for managing safety and health programs and compliance at a unit.
What Skills You Need
- Follow the organization's health, safety policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate safety and health risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
- Investigate all kinds of incidents and reports and provide expert advice to more senior colleagues. Minimize risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards by working with all internal functions to make sure compliance programs are properly implemented.
- Deliver audit assignments in nominated client areas. Develop individual audit plans and detailed scope, deliver the fieldwork, report findings and opinions, agree on corrective actions with auditees, and refer serious or contentious issues to the lead auditor.
- Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
- Help others get the most out of internal communications systems by offering support and advice.
- Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis, to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
- Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
- Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
- Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.

- Experience into Mexican applicability regulation in regards Health and Safety (STPS, Proteccion Civil, etc).
- Experience in similar process as metal fab, automotive Industry, manufacturing process.
Education
- Engieneering Degree or Equivalent Leve.
Candidates must have the necessary work permits to work in the country.
