Your Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst, you will build relationships with John Deere dealers while managing their customers equipment financing needs in a fast paced, challenging team environment. In addition, you will…
- Review and analyze incoming credit applications including credit reports, financial statements across all products (Ag, Turf, Multi-Use, Golf).
- Independently make credit decisions based on established credit guidelines or escalate as required and actively communicate decisions to dealers.
- Provide guidance to dealers in optimizing the use of JDF products to facilitate sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders (territory finance managers, sales/marketing, strategic credit managers).
- Respond to and resolve incoming and outgoing inquiries from dealer channel by phone and email. Phones approx. 5-15 calls based on time of year, avg length <3 minutes.
What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of credit experience in the equipment finance industry, with knowledge of products and services offered.
- Bilingual – French fluency.
- Ability to identify key risks and appropriate mitigating factors, make and communicate informed decisions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, intranet/internet functions.
- Self-motivated, ability to independently manage workload and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work a set shift within retail credit hours of operation (March – October: 8:30 to 7 pm EST. November – March: 8:30 to 6 pm EST. Late shift 1-2x per month during 7 pm EST extended hours, based on availability). Regular shift is 8:30-5:00 pm EST.
- This is a remote work from home position; candidates must have an appropriate from work home set-up with a stable internet connection.
What Makes You Stand
- Ability to proficiently review and analyze financial information.
- Financial acumen and understanding (financial review experience an asset).
- Knowledge of the agriculture and construction and forestry industry.
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- University or College in related discipline (business, finance, accounting or related field) or equivalent work experience.
