Your Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Lead for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will:
The Sales Development Lead is responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing new customer opportunities that are not currently being reached through existing sales channels. They create qualified opportunities in strategic growth segments through targeted outreach, customer research, stakeholder mapping, and opportunity qualification as prospects formally enter the sales funnel or receive account ownership. This role is focused on funnel development: targeting new accounts, building early customer interest, validating fit and need, and preparing opportunities for a seamless transition to the appropriate long term account owner. The role works closey with others across the demand generation team as well as with dealers, sales teams, and growth intelligence personnel.

- Demonstrated success in customer-facing sales, business development, account development, or inside sales roles.
- Experience conducting customer research, account planning, and opportunity qualification.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities with disciplined follow-through.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience working with dealer networks, channel partners, or indirect sales models.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify opportunities, and develop new business relationships.
- CRM proficiency and experience using customer and market data to drive prospecting activities.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
