Your Responsibilities

 

As a Program Manager for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will focus on leading large, multi-disciplinary project teams across engineering and data science functions. The position requires strong leadership in collaborating on project vision, guiding outcomes, coordinating and managing activities from discovery through release. Additionally you will be: 

 

  • managing program issues, dependencies and risks while effectively communicating across roles and responsibilities on all aspects of the program.

What Skills You Need

 

  • Lead large project teams made up of multiple various sized engineering and data science teams
  • collaborate defining the project vision, communicate the necessary outcomes, and provide guidance to achieve these outcomes
  • coordinate team actions across project activities from discovery to release
  • build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Experience working across and with product management, user experience, data science, data and product engineering teams and processes
  • Experience breaking down large scope requests into manageable, incremental deliverables and executing to each one.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the product teams, stakeholders and supporting functions verbally and through written communication
  • Understand, document, communicate and manage program risks, issues, constraints and dependencies between teams and functional areas across multiple deliverables
  • ​Ensure teams have clarity on expectations of each deliverable
  • Experience in a variety of different roles on agile or scrum type teams
  • Experience with backlog management tools

Education

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
