Title: Part-Time Student-Manufacturing Engineering-Milan IL - 75893 


The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.


Your Responsibilities


  • Maintain and evolve existing tools and processes.
  • Assists team in identifying issues and proposing resolutions.
  • Gather, review, and analyze information.
  • Supports multiple departments in their daily functions.
  • Produces a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department processes.
  • Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices; learns company products.

What You Need


  • Pursing a degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical), Analytics, or a similar mathematics-based discipline; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
  •  Graduation date of May 2022 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be able to commute to the work location daily
  • Available to work 16-20 hours per week during the academic year
  • Available to work 35-40 hours per week during the summer semester
  • Experience with Excel
  • 2D drafting experience or willingness to learn
  • Ability to use teamwork to resolve problems, discuss issues, and communicate potential solutions to engineering colleagues and management

What Makes You Stand Out


  • Basic understanding of factory or warehouse automation systems
  • Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Works or similar
  • Experience with project management
  • Programming experiences in SAS, SQL, Python, R, Java or similar
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases
  • Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, manufacturing, warehousing or quality
