This position can be located in Waterloo, IA or Moline, IL. 


This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time.  The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities


As a Design Engineer on Electric Vehicle Hydraulic Systems within the Tractor Drivetrain & Hydraulic Core Technology Team, you will be responsible for the design & implementation of the following:


  • Hydraulic Power Generation System
  • Hydraulic Power Distribution System
  • Hydraulic Valving Control
  • Hydraulic Oil Management

What Skills You Need


  • 5 or more years of experience with CREO 3D Design with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • 5 or more years of experience with Hydraulic Schematic Layout Schemes
  • 5 or more years of experience with Hydraulic Systems Design and Vehicle Integration
  • 5 or more years of experience with Hydraulic Pump Design, Specifying and Vehicle Integration
  • 3 or more years of experience with Hydraulic Valving Control Systems
  • 3 or more years of experience with Oil Contamination and Aeration Management
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Tractor Hydraulic Systems Generation and Priority Distribution Control Scheme Layouts
  • Tractor Hydraulic Selective Control Valves and Hitch Systems Requirements
  • Electro-Hydraulic Manifold, Valve Specification and Design
  • Hydraulic System Software Requirements
  • Systems Engineering Methodologies and Toolset Usage
  • Design Tools Usage: Automation Studio, Simcenter Amesim, Matlab and CFD
  • Knowledge of Global Farming Practices and Production Systems
  • Electric Vehicle Design Experience with Hydraulic Functions



Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or related field
