Your Responsibilities
As a PDP Factory Automation Engineer for Deere & Co World Headquarters located in Dubuque, IA, you will:
Support and implement solutions for new startup, programming, test, automation, calibration and similar equipment to improve quality and functionality of the product as well as improve efficiency, reliability and uptime of the process.
Provide on-site shop floor support for production critical vehicle startup, programming, test, automation and similar equipment that requires quick response to ensure uptime and productivity.
Develop and deploy controls engineering solutions and support for existing and new technologies, tooling and automation equipment along with integration into MES systems and operations.
Collaborate with OFP and PDP engineers in quality, manufacturing, design, Factory Automation Team, and software, as well as production employees, skilled trades, and suppliers, for deployment and support of projects and vehicle software releases.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to develop updated testing procedures in response to quality data and internal/external customer requirements.

What Skills You Need
Interpret and Analyze electrical schematics, systems, and programs to troubleshoot & diagnose equipment
Understanding of electronic components and electronic systems
Experience with programming, embedded controllers, communication networks (CAN, ethernet) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with programming production test software such as Shakedown, Smart Test, Titan and Global Factory Programming Tool (GFPT)
Experience in the design, development, testing and integration of machine software solutions
Experience with Factory Automation
Experience with MPPlanner, JDAAT and AMES
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Some SSL/CRW/BH/MG/ADT/FOR product knowledge
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or 5 or more years of related work experience.
