Your Responsibilities

 

As a Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will work on Deere’s HR IT Technology Platform, Talent Central. In addition, you will:

 

  • utilize Deere specific HR domain knowledge to meet the needs of John Deere’s Human Resources area;
  • Utilize tools such as Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI), SuccessFactors Configuration and Implementation module that include Recruiting and Marketing, Onboarding Module and Custom configuration using business rules to meet the business need.
  • Use oData API Services to enable the functionality needed by our business. Design application using Tools/Applications using Postman, Azure/AWS, Visual Studio, GitHub, Node JS.
  • Using Employee Central config and base to implement new Onboarding modules.
  • Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 20% remote work allowed.

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • 3 years of experience in administer Active Directory commands using PowerShell scripting
  • 3 years of experience in use Amazon Web Services to support applications in the cloud environment
  • 3 years of experience in deploy windows server image and software on virtual machine using Hyper-V 
  • 3 years of experience with DNS DHCP configuration, Azure, and Databases
  • 1 year of experience in work on the Agile Operating Model and have experience with agile methodologies including scrum ceremonies and Test-Driven Development practices

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field plus 3 years related experience.
