The Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) of John Deere in Kaiserslautern develops future trends and technologies in the area of mobile agricultural and construction machinery in cooperation with different research centers. In addition, ISG develops and sells products and services in the area of precision farming using global satellite-based navigation systems (GNSS), automated steering systems, machine automation, sensor technologies, telematic system solutions, web applications as well as apps for mobile devices to optimize farming processes and to support decision making.


Our department GNSS & Comms is looking for a


Systems Engineer GNSS (m/f/d)  



Your Responsibilities:

  • Active member in international development teams
  • Support development of positioning systems
  • Translate customer demands into technical solutions
  • System and component integration into machines


What Skills You Need:

  • Diploma/Master/Phd in Geomatics, Communication Systems, Electronics or similar
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of work experience in requirements engineering
  • Excellent communication and moderation skills
  • Fluent in German and English language
  • Ideally, you have knowledge/practical work experience in:
    • System Integration for GNSS Receivers
    • Agile development / Lean development

This non-temporary part-time tariff position offers a flexible work time approach up to 20 hours per week as part of job sharing, is based in Kaiserslautern (partial-remote work possible) and vacant as soon as possible. You may submit your application in either German or English language.
