Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:


Trade Customs Specialist with German (m/f)


Your Responsibilities:


• Prepares, expedites and controls all necessary customers declaration documents for imported and exported goods needed by export customers and required by their home country import regulations in order to avoid duties and/or tax.
• Supports John Deere units as well as advises them on country of origin regulations and export handling. 
• Communicates with John Deere departments/units regarding order status, shipping information and problem resolution.
• Analyzes new export regulations on potential impact for John Deere units.
• Interprets internal and external policies and regulations to determine the impact on the enterprise and communicate to the appropriate parties where necessary the direction or process to be followed. 
• Coordinates with local custom offices issues of the daily export processing.
• Prepares invoices on the basis of defined sales terms and applicable regulations of countries of destination.
• Monitors and manages the metrics of imports and exports. Prepares and updates various analysis and reports to assist the department/unit management. Conducts studies to determine products or parts requiring Free Trade certification.
• Maintains export and import transactions on a daily basis.
• Prepares presentations and trains employees in topics related to the position/responsibility.


What skills you need:


• Advanced German language skills (at least B2) and communicative English
• Skill in interpersonal communication, teamwork, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Experience in financial / logistics / customer service area
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Intrastat
• Good organization of working time, customer orientation, analytical skills
