Major Purpose
Major Duties
- Develop and update the planning of public relations, government relations, regulation, and registration campaigns for a specific area, aligning this with business goals.
- Manage a few public relations and government relations campaigns and negotiate service-level agreements to ensure successful campaigns and value for money. Plan, coordinate, and supervise activities relating to campaigns.
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
- Develop and/or deliver a public relations, government relations, regulation, and registration plan for significant aspects of a product, service, or business under guidance from senior colleagues.
- Write drafts and edit content in line with organizational style guidelines to format and publish information on websites and in print.
- Execute a communications plan within established systems and procedures.
- Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Or identify, within the team, patterns of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Edit document in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
