Title: Product Engineer OS - 94162

Your Position:

Major Purpose

Plans, coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.

Major Duties

  • Deliver design and engineering works of Operator Station subsystem of Tractor Controls and Cab styling parts to meet function, performance, reliability, cost and quality goals.
  • Work with cross functional team include SM, Quality, PV&V and Production on issue root cause analysis and engineering solution development.

Required

 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering role.
  • Familiar with relative manufacturing process: Sheet metal, Welding, Plastic Injection, SMC, other non-metal parts forming processes.
  • Familiar with characters of plastic material, ability to make good choices based on applications, cost, and quality.
  • Skilled with Sheet metal, Surface, Piping and Cabling modules to create design in Creo (Pro/E).
  • Good skill in English for engineering communication globally.

Desired

  • Experience with controls and styling parts are preferred.
  • Experience with operation of vehicle. Familiar with ergonomics evaluation and the layout of controls.
  • Project lead experience is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and above in Mechanical Engineering and equivalent.
