Main Responsibilities
As an IT Security Analyst for John Deere Supply Chain Solutions, you will participate as a member of a highly collaborative team responsible for establishing and implementing security for the John Deere Supply Network (JDSN). This role is designed as an entry level position in security administration at John Deere. A successful candidate may have opportunities for advancement within the JDSN Security team, or other security administration teams at John Deere. In this role you will:
- Review, approve, and administer requests for new supplier and external worker user ids and security
- Understand and perform existing processes related to supplier contact reviews and administration
- Support user inquiries related to and troubleshooting of supplier user or external worker security
- Suggest process improvements to enhance user experience related to supplier and external worker creation and security
What Skills You Need
- Ability to follow processes and use security administration tools.
- Knowledge of computer security policies and a general overall knowledge of computer security concepts.
- Experience working with global teams. Fluent in English.
- Understanding of relational databases and application development practices
What Makes You Stand Out
- Prior experience working in security administration for a large company
- Knowledge of and prior experience working in Supply Management business function
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Education
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience
